Visitor policies

At Texas Surgical Hospital, we prioritize the health, safety, and comfort of our patients, visitors, and staff. Our visitor policies are designed to create a supportive environment while maintaining the highest standards of care. Please review the following guidelines before your visit:

Visitor Guidelines

  • Masking: Visitors are encouraged to wear masks in patient care areas or where respiratory illnesses may be present. Masks are available upon request.

  • Visitor Limit: Each patient is allowed one visitor during their stay to ensure a calm and manageable environment.

  • Health Screening: Visitors showing signs of illness, such as fever, cough, or sore throat, should refrain from entering the facility to protect our patients and staff.

  • Hygiene Practices:

    • Wash or sanitize your hands upon arrival and before leaving the facility.

    • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and sanitize your hands immediately afterward.

Additional Information

  • Visitors must remain in designated areas, such as waiting rooms or recovery areas, as directed by staff.

  • For surgical patients, visitors may wait in the designated waiting area until the patient is ready for discharge or further updates from the care team.
